Euro Health Group was commissioned to validate the responses to the global Sexual, Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child and Adolescent Health (SRMNCAH) Policy Survey for WHO. The SRMNCAH survey contained specific questions on the existence of policies and guidelines and their content relevant to SRMNCAH, and it was administered since 2009 among all WHO Member States to track country progress in adopting WHO recommendations in national health policies related to SRMNCAH. The findings were summarized and consolidated in datasets, country reports and one overall report including recommendations on how to carry out future surveys. The project ran from February 2020 to December 2020.

The policy document repository, which includes close to 5,000 documents from approximately 140 countries submitted through the 2018-2019 WHO RMNCAH Policy Survey is now online: National policies (who.int). The types of documents in the repository include national laws, policies, guidelines, operational guidance, strategic plans, etc. related to SRMNCAH. Filters allow users to search for documents under various health topics by country, document type, year of publication, language, etc.

Euro Health Group contributed to a peer-reviewed article on the methodology of the validation, which is published.
